Can I apply Bowtech Ease during aromatherapy?
As an aromatherapist myself, I would suggest you make up a blend in your usual way – or use three drops of Bowtech Ease to 10ml of carrier oil. Over any painful areas, such as lower back, you could apply directly from the bottle and use the ‘press and release’ movements recommended until absorbed.
Can Soda Crystals be used if a person has eczema?
It is safe to use the crystals in the case of a person with eczema as they can not cause harm to the skin. Instructions on the label suggest one tablespoon in a bath and one teaspoon for a foot or hand soak – a patch test can be carried out first if the person is concerned. If there is any sensitivity then immediately get out of the bath and rinse with clean water. Many people have found the crystals soothe itchy, dry and sensitive skin.
Do Soda Crystals have any contra-indications?
There are no contra-indications for Soda Crystals. The label advises a patch test if a person has sensitive skin although the recommended amount has been tested for sensitivity – including all intimate areas of the body – and found to be beneficial and soothing.
How should I apply Bowtech Ease to my shoulder?
Use the rollerball to apply and then press in using tips of fingers. If it is difficult to reach the precise spot then you can visit a therapist for help or ask a friend or relative to do it for you. It is important to find the exact area of pain to break down any congestion and get some relief. Once the ointment has been absorbed the skin becomes dry so no problem about getting dressed again.
How do you measure one or two drops of Bowtech Ease when using the roller-ball applicator - and is the amount critical?
Rolling over the affected area forwards once and backwards once, to cover the area of pain, should be sufficient. The product is oily and providing the area has a thin film, it is the pressing-in that is important as that helps ease congestion or calcification build-up. It only takes a couple of minutes for the oil to be absorbed and then the area is dry.
