Hello everyone

IT is around this time that our feet come out to play with many of us contemplating the state of our feet which have been tucked up in socks and boots all winter. As a reflexologist I know that looking after the feet brings benefits to the whole body. And I certainly get more referrals for reflexology treatments at this time as people become more aware and want to give themselves, and their feet, a treat!

The London Marathon returned to its April date, which coincided with Foot Health Awareness Month, reinforcing the importance of good footcare not only for runners but for all of us.

With that in mind, we recommend soaking your feet in Bexters Bath Crystals to relieve tired, swollen feet, soften the skin and reduce the risk of fungal infections such as athlete’s foot. The inclusion of essential oil of peppermint adds freshness.

To reduce swelling caused by twisted ankle or sports injury, go for our combination pack of Bexters Soda Crystals with applicator wrap, recommended by physiotherapists to aid recovery and rehabilitation. Using the crystals saved Sarah’s holiday… read her story and see before and after pictures on our website.

And last, but not least, if your foot problem is bunions or hammer toes, then our multi-award winning Bowtech Ease, a unique aromatherapy blend of essential oils, is for you!

Enjoy your summer and make sure your feet are in tip top condition!

Until next time… Helen

Apply Bowtech Ease to help relieve the symptoms of hay fever. If you have tried all the usual remedies without success, give this a go as many of our clients love it. See our video and please send us your feedback once you have tried it.

King anointed with essential oils

Christmas gift

The ancient ritual of King Charles’ III coronation was absolutely fascinating especially for us in the use of essential oils in the symbolic anointing of both Charles and Queen Camilla. The base carrier oil comes from the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, burial place of the king’s grandmother, mixed with sesame, rose, jasmine, cinnamon, neroli, benzoin, amber and orange blossom.

As therapists, we value the benefits of essential oils and wish this sacred oil, known as chrism, brings harmony and love to the newly-crowned monarch and his family. Read more on Helen's Blog.

Beat the price rise

While we have managed to keep our delivery charges frozen for the past year, sadly in common with most other companies we are now forced to review our prices to take account of spiralling costs.

Before the new price structure comes into force later this month (May) we are offering this final chance to take advantage of current prices. In addition, we will give you a FREE sachet of Bexters Bath Crystals when you place any order over £30.

Bath Crystals

Some of the runners in the London Marathon took part in the annual Stamford Striders 30k Valentine’s Run during February. Helen was there as part of a team of complementary therapists offering mini treatments to help them recover after this gruelling event which many top runners use as part of their training. The treatments were free in return for a donation to the local Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice where Helen is a volunteer. They were also offered a sachet of Bexters crystals to continue their recovery at home with a soak in the bath.
