IT is hard to believe ten years have passed since we launched Bowen Supplies by Helen, naming it after the visionary founder of the Bowen Technique.

Tom Bowen used various home remedies to complement his therapy work – from apple cider vinegar to soda crystals – and we have him to thank for the contemporary products we use today.

Today we have Bexters® Soda Crystals while Bowtech Ease, an Ayurvedic aromatherapy blend is an alternative to Iodex, which these days is known to have potentially unpleasant side-effects.

Instead of his homely suggestion of using a handkerchief or tea towel in which to wrap the salts around a swollen limb, we now offer a purpose-designed applicator wrap – including the recent addition of a mitt for arthritic hands.

Natural, safe and effective for use by professionals and at home, the benefits of these products have led to growing awareness not only among Bowen therapists but reflexologists, physiotherapists and clients and customers whose positive feedback is always so encouraging as we strive to improve our service.
