Prices and payment
We take care to ensure all prices are up to date and accurate. However prices may change from time to time, especially with regard to currency fluctuations, and we reserve the right to update and rectify such change in a reasonable and timely manner. Prices are quoted in UK sterling and will be converted to other currencies using the exchange rate pertaining on receipt of order. In addition postage and packing will be charged, as stated on the order form. Online payment can be made in a secure environment by all major credit cards and debit cards, except Amex and Diners. Sterling cheques are to be made out to Helen Mary Perkins and received at the Peterborough office. Please record your order reference number or business name / name on the back of your cheque.
Standard postage and packing will be charged. We use Royal Mail (registered postal service) or a courier to deliver goods Monday to Friday. Please allow from three to seven days for delivery, and up to fourteen before informing us of any no show. We will inform you if any item is out of stock and undertake to send it on to you at no extra charge as soon as it becomes available. We offer the use of ‘signed for’ and express post or courier for your option all of which include tracking facility. This requires someone to be available at the address so the parcel can be signed for. If your delivery address is different from your mailing address please make this clear or provide an alternative mailing address where there will be somebody available to sign for the delivery. In all cases, when a delivery cannot be carried out, a card will be left for you with instructions on what to do. If the parcel is returned to Helen Mary Perkins, any attempts to re-send the parcel will be treated as a new order.
Orders over 2 kilograms will be shipped by courier, who may not deliver on a weekend. Before and after holiday periods parcel delivery may slow down or be delayed, this needs to be considered when placing an order just before Christmas, or near to a Bank Holiday period. Orders placed during this period will not be dispatched until after the first working day, following any particular holiday period.
Helen Mary Perkins cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery caused by the manufacturer or any third party including Royal Mail or courier service.
Passing of property
Helen Mary Perkins retains ownership of the goods until the customer has made full payment and the funds have been cleared. If paying by cheque, payment should be received within seven days of the order being placed – we do not advise sending cash through the post.
Acceptance of orders
We reserve the right to remove or edit content or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order it will be without any charge to you. Once an online order has been submitted you will receive an automated order confirmation email. Before the order is accepted the debit or credit card details provided will be validated. The automated delivery confirmation email will then be sent subject to availability of products, pricing or other substantial reason that may impact the transaction. Orders will be despatched once payment has been confirmed… cheques must be received within seven days of the order being placed. If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment we will not be liable to delay or non-delivery.
In the case where goods are rejected due to defect, discrepancy in the order, or simply need to be exchanged for a different size for example, the customer is entitled to a replacement or full refund, less the original cost of delivery. The customer must notify Helen Mary Perkins within 48 hours of receipt of order by telephone, email or post. Then return the product within 7 days by re-packing carefully, including your order reference number, name and contact details and why it is being returned before a refund or replacement can be issued. Goods should be returned unsealed and unopened, for re-saleable condition – if damaged in transit, send the whole parcel back to us as you have received it, in order for us to notify and follow-up with Royal Mail or the courier service
If you wish to cancel your order, you have within 7 working days upon receipt of the order to telephone, email or post us a letter informing us. Goods sent back to us must be packed in the same condition sent to you, unless damaged in transit.
Goods are not sold for any particular purpose even if implied in the content of this website, promotional material or product data sheet. In any event the buyer must satisfy themselves that the products are entirely suitable for their purposes. All implied terms and conditions and warranties relating to the quality and/or fitness for the purpose of the goods are excluded. The seller shall be under no liability whatsoever to the buyer for any indirect or consequential loss/and or expense (including loss of profit) suffered by the buyer arising out of breach of contract by the seller of this contract. In the event of any breach of contract by the seller, the remedies of the buyer shall be limited to damages. Under no circumstances shall the liability of the seller exceed the price of goods.
Helen Mary Perkins will accept no liability or responsibility for products being sold to unqualified therapists and/or third parties.
