Case Study: Brenda Howard

The Challenge
Having lived with rheumatoid arthritis for over 30 years Brenda had tried many different complementary therapies – with little or no success – to help manage the physical and emotional challenge of this extremely painful condition. 

The Solution
Helen recommended a course of Bowen Technique to support the muscles around the joints to improve mobility. Treatment was initially carried out with Brenda seated as she found it impossible to lie on the couch in the usual face-down starting position. 

In between visits, Brenda used Bexters Soda Crystals at home to reduce swelling around the joints, soaking her feet and using the applicator mitt filled with crystals (pictured). 

The Outcome
Joints became more flexible while Brenda’s overall mobility dramatically improved enabling her to continue driving and retain some independence. She was able to cut down on pain killing medication to the surprise of her medical team.
