Case Study: Catherine Pearce
Occupation: Retired gardener
The Challenge
After many years doing a physical job as a self-employed gardener, Catherine was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the knuckles of both thumbs and index fingers. Both are critical for managing everyday tasks requiring precision, control and strength. For example, doing up buttons, using a pen to write, opening a jar or picking up something small.
The Solution
Her GP suggested she take an over-the-counter remedy such as paracetomol, to relieve the pain while offering no further advice. Catherine recalled how effective Bowtech Ease had been during her gardening days she used the last few drops to see if it would make any difference.
The Outcome
She was delighted to find that applying the oil to her affected joints certainly did make a difference. She ordered a new supply and now applies it every night. The pain is eased and the joints remain flexible.
Catherine says: “The pain and stiffness was really starting to get me down and I am so pleased with this natural and effective remedy. The rollerball is easy to use; I apply it before I go to bed and my aching hands no longer wake me up in the night. The pain is eased and the joints are more flexible.”
