I do like to sit down and read a magazine which keeps me enthralled from cover to cover. This month’s Natural Health magazine has an article called ‘Back to your Roots’ about spending time in the great outdoors and appreciating nature . Many of us can relate to splendid walks we’ve had, where we can gaze at trees and not think of anything in particular, which has to be good for us.
While in Australia, I lived in the Outback. This was eight hours drive from the nearest city. I lived in a bush camp with no running water or electricity. This was living in the wilderness! I loved the life and could relate with much of what was written in the article, especially about tuning in with nature.
I have been invited as keynote speaker at the national conference of the Reflexology Association of Australia in September. The conference is in Tasmania and I will definitely be exploring the wild side there and talking about what I learned from Australia’s indigenous people.
